GROW GROUPS
The Connecting Church offers you opportunities to grow in Christ. Spiritual growth and building a relationship in Christ are essential in the fruitful Christian life. Grow Groups are interactive small groups, Biblically-based and meet the church mission, “To Know Christ and Make Him Known”.
If you want to GROW tall, you must go deep. Like a tree firmly planted by streams of water which yields fruit in season. Ps. 1:3

Primary Grades

| Preschool through 6th grade classes follow Gospel Light Curriculum filled with Bible stories, enlivening discussion and fun activities each week. Note: All preschool through 3rd grade students and teachers meet in the sanctuary at 9:30 a.m. for a 15 minute Opener; then all convene to their grade-level classrooms. |

Middle School and High School
Teacher: Ryan Wright
Developing in Spiritual Maturity: No matter where your middle and high schoolers are in their spiritual journey, this class will delve into the tough questions of faith. The purpose is to build on the foundations for Biblical, spiritual maturity. Inquisitive minds plunge into the Bible to get answers to their biggest questions about God, others, and themselves.

Adult Faith Building Classes, Jan. 14th- Feb. 18th
- Prophecy (Discipleship 205)
Teacher: Pastor Nathan Crandall What is prophecy? How do we biblically receive and handle prophecy within our church body? Call the church office to order book – “You May all Prophesy” Cost $11.
- Two Hours to Freedom (Discipleship 203)
Teacher: Pastor Liz Green How to minister to people needing deep healing and deliverance. Prerequisite – Discipleship 202. A repeat of the last 6-week class.
- Aftercare following Deliverance (Discipleship 216)
Teacher: Pastor George Calhoun How do we maintain freedom once we have been delivered? What can we expect and how do we avoid falling into oppression again? Prerequisite – Discipleship 202. Call the church office to order the book – "Who Switched Off My Brain?" Cost $10
Facilitator: Barb Green This class is for adults who find themselves in the role of a caregiver. Whether it be for grandchildren or an aging parent, this class will continue to look at the challenges faced by caregivers through a Biblical perspective. Come hear some tips and share your suggestions with other caregivers.
- From Philippi to Philippians
Facilitators: Kathy Hulstrom and Joel Osborn Beginning with portions of Acts before moving into in-depth discussion questions in Philippians. Bring your Bible and a notebook.
Facilitators: Marcy Kersten and Katie Lubke Come for lively discussions and Godly support. This group is open to parents of all ages.

Meets every Wednesday throughout the year at IHOP Restaurant for breakfast and study, 6:30 a.m.

(Women Growing in Wisdom)
